Product Overview

ARclean® 8915W-6970 is a double-coated tape with an acid-free, low outgassing, acrylic adhesive on either side of a white polyester (PET) carrier.

Product Applications

The typical use for this product is for fabrication of filters used in hard disk drives (HDD’s) where clean strippability from HDD base plates and covers are required for rework after burn-in. This can be used for bonding micro-contamination filters inside the HDD housings.

The low outgassing properties also allow this product to be used in medical applications. It can be used for bonding, laminating and assembly of in-vitro diagnostic and related membrane-based immunoassay products.
